Dr. Yaser Ellethy is hoofddocent Koran en Hadith Wetenschappen aan het Centrum voor Islamitische Theologie (CIT). Hij volgde in Cairo de studie klassieke en authentieke Europese cultuur en vergelijkende studies met de Islamitische Traditie. Ellethy promoveerde (2de PhD) op het gebied van Islamitische Theologie in samenwerking met al-Azhar Universiteit te Cairo, Egypte. Hij is ook gepromoveerd (1ste PhD) op het onderwerp de klassieke literatuur. Door de jaren heen is Ellethy werkzaam geweest aan verschillende universiteiten in Egypte en Griekenland. Hij heeft artikelen en boeken gepubliceerd in het Engels, Nederlands, Arabisch en het Grieks.
